Last month William McDonough gave a lecture, “Design for the Circular Economy in the Ecological Century,” part of the Oppenheim Lecture Series. The lecture series is part of UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, which was established by Patricia Oppenheim with her family in memory of Rudi Oppenheim. As a flagship public program of the Institute, the group of world-class speakers that participate in the lecture series will educate, inform and raise awareness about the diverse environmental problems of the world today.
